Build a shared approach to problem solving and decision making
Our corporate training programs for teams and groups are designed to introduce the Kepner-Tregoe methodology, and gradually build mastery – equipping your teams with the critical thinking skills they need to make an immediate impact back on the job.
What makes Kepner-Tregoe corporate training different?
Many of us have attended training sessions where we’ve heard some good stories, watched a presentation (invariably involving a 2×2 matrix!), and then headed for the coffee break. But how often have we come away with practical tools and a new way of working that we’ve used time and again to solve real problems back on the job?
Well – our consultants aren’t lacking in some good stories of their own, and of course you get coffee. But here’s what you can expect when your team takes part in a Kepner-Tregoe corporate training program:
- Focused instructor presentations introducing the Kepner-Tregoe method, its steps, and practical tips for applying it.
- Interactive work in small groups to practice applying the processes to case studies from our extensive library. These are tailored to the industry and functions within the group.
- A tried-and-tested, proven training approach for adult learners, that aims to gradually build critical thinking skills – from passive awareness through to mastering the application of the Kepner-Tregoe processes independently.
- Hands-on application of the Kepner-Tregoe processes to any real-life issues or concerns that the team has brought with them to the training.
What are the benefits of a group training for my team?
- Train together online or at your premises, reducing the need for participant travel
- Direct access to an experienced consultant who can advise on company-specific issues
- Ability to share potentially sensitive details of specific problems or decisions, without participants from outside companies
Train together – online, or in-person
As we’re all aware, we are living in an increasingly online world. Employees often work from home, either permanently or on a hybrid contract, and can be located anywhere in the world.
Even before the pandemic, and the prevalence of remote work, Kepner-Tregoe courses have been available online, in response to these developments.
We strive to make the online experience no less interactive or stimulating than a face-to-face training session.

However, in-person training options are by no means obsolete – many people regard them as superior for the fast-paced and immediate interactions, spontaneity, atmosphere and networking opportunities.
The choice is yours! Our consultants are happy to discuss options and ensure that the training is a perfect fit.
Bring on the gamification: who said corporate training had to be boring?
If you’re looking for something even more hands-on, then look no further than our simulation-based training options.
Especially well-suited to functions like IT or engineering, where participants are able to quickly pick up a new technology, this option gives you a safe-to-fail way to see the outcome of your decisions in real time.

As a minimum, in-house group trainings are available for 8-10 participants. The maximum is 16-20. If you aren’t sure whether you will have enough team members for a group training, consider sending your participants to one of our public open enrolment courses, which are scheduled in major cities worldwide. Some group discounts may be available – enquire with us to find out more.
Absolutely none! As all of our corporate training programs teach the Kepner-Tregoe methodology from the ground up, participants don’t need any previous knowledge or experience using the KT methods.
No, this is not necessarily the case. If you have delegates from various locations and it would make more sense to choose a neutral location for the training, we can hold the training at any desired location e.g. a hotel or conference center. The client is responsible for making arrangements.
In order to save trees and reduce carbon footprint, we have pivoted to using digital materials for our workshops. Access is straightforward. Prior to the start of the course, we send out details to participants via email. You can opt for hard-copy Kepner-Tregoe handy “Process Cards” to ensure participants have a process cheat-sheet to refer to any time.
Kepner-Tregoe training attendees are eligible for free access to our “My KT” members area, where they can find cheat sheets, videos, tips and tricks for applying KT processes and more.
We encourage learners to continue to apply the KT processes to real-life issues. Applications can be submitted to us in order to receive expert feedback, as well as obtaining a Kepner-Tregoe Practitioner, Advanced, or Expert Badge. More information on Badges
