Phillip Thompson

As Senior Vice President of Client Experience, Phillip Thompson serves as executive sponsor for Kepner-Tregoe’s most important global accounts. He works with key corporate functions including delivery, marketing, customer service, and product development, to build a culture of customer excellence and enhance KT’s strategic value to clients.

Phillip leads the firm’s efforts to define and improve the end-to-end client journey. He helps senior leaders achieve measurable business results by applying KT’s rational processes to increase agility, innovation, reliability, and execution skills. A frequent keynote speaker and executive workshop facilitator, he also shares critical thinking insights at conferences, strategy development meetings, and leadership retreats around the world.

Phil resides with his wife near Munich, Germany and has two adult children. He is fluent in German, French and Spanish and holds an MBA from Nova University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from ASU in North Carolina. 

He also served as a Captain in the US Army where he was an Executive Training Officer, Brigade Operations Officer and Aide-de-Camp to the Deputy Commanding General. In his free time, Phil enjoys mountain biking, fitness training, basketball and volleyball.
