{"id":66968,"date":"2022-05-12T10:08:00","date_gmt":"2022-05-12T10:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kepner-tregoe.com\/blogs\/8d-is-or-is-not-that-is-the-question\/"},"modified":"2022-05-12T10:08:00","modified_gmt":"2022-05-12T10:08:00","slug":"8d-is-or-is-not-that-is-the-question","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kepner-tregoe.com\/nl\/blogs\/8d-is-or-is-not-that-is-the-question\/","title":{"rendered":"8D \u2013 IS of IS-NIET, d\u00e1t is de vraag"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>In de publicatie, <a href=\"https:\/\/webshop.vda.de\/QMC\/en\/8d-problem-solving-in-8-disciplines\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">8D &#8211; Problem Solving in 8 Disciplines<\/a>, benadrukt de VDA (Verband der Automobilindustrie) hoe de Kepner-Tregoe IS\/IS NIET-methode kan bijdragen aan het behalen van een &#8220;excellent&#8221; beoordeling tijdens een audit.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Het IS\/IS-NIET-concept, dat Kepner-Tregoe in 1958 introduceerde, lijkt op het eerste gezicht eenvoudig. Toch laat de methode pas bij een juiste toepassing haar volledige kracht zien. Dan helpt zij om grondoorzaken effectief en effici\u00ebnt te achterhalen. Zoals voor veel methoden geldt ook hier: een onjuiste toepassing leidt vaak tot tijdverlies en frustratie.  <\/p>\n<h2>Hieronder staan de meest voorkomende fouten bij het toepassen van IS\/IS-NIET:<\/h2>\n<h3>1. Er wordt nauwelijks \u201cIS NIET\u201d-informatie verzameld<\/h3>\n<p>We richten ons vaak vooral op de IS-gegevens, terwijl de IS NIET-informatie relatief beperkt blijft. Dat heeft directe gevolgen voor de kwaliteit van de analyse: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Het vinden van onderscheidende kenmerken, essentieel om het verschil tussen IS en IS-NIET zichtbaar te maken, wordt veel lastiger<\/li>\n<li>Het vaststellen van de reikwijdte van het probleem wordt bemoeilijkt<\/li>\n<li>Het toetsen van mogelijke oorzaken wordt minder effectief<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Een goede IS\/IS-NIET-analyse bevat daarom altijd uitgebreide en zorgvuldig verzamelde IS-NIET-informatie.<\/p>\n<h3>2. IS-NIET-informatie wordt alleen gezien als het tegenovergestelde van IS-informatie<\/h3>\n<p>De IS-NIET-informatie <em>kan<\/em> het tegenovergestelde zijn van de IS-informatie, maar dat hoeft niet. Als de afwijking bijvoorbeeld bestaat uit &#8220;zwarte vlekken&#8221;, is de IS-NIET niet automatisch &#8220;witte vlekken&#8221;. Dat is misschien zelfs helemaal niet mogelijk. De vragen over wat IS-NIET is, zijn erop gericht de mogelijke alternatieven te onderzoeken die <em>zich hadden kunnen voordoen,<\/em> maar zich in werkelijkheid niet hebben voorgedaan. In de praktijk wordt dit proces vaak afgekort doordat de IS-NIET-vragen te snel en te oppervlakkig worden beantwoord. De nadelen van deze aanpak zijn dezelfde als hierboven beschreven.    <\/p>\n<h3>3. Vragen over de IS\/IS-NIET-informatie worden onnauwkeurig beantwoord<\/h3>\n<p>Sommige vragen in het IS\/IS-NIET-proces worden vaak verkeerd ge\u00efnterpreteerd, omdat het doel van de vraag niet duidelijk is. De meest verkeerd begrepen vraag is de derde \u201cWANNEER\u201d-vraag: \u201cWanneer werd de afwijking voor het eerst waargenomen sinds het object bestaat of tijdens de levenscyclus ervan?\u201d Met deze vraag wordt gezocht naar de relatie tussen het optreden van de afwijking en een andere gebeurtenis of toestand. Antwoorden beginnen daarom vaak met woorden als \u2018tijdens\u2019, \u2018v\u00f3\u00f3r\u2019 of \u2018na\u2019. Er wordt dus niet gevraagd naar een datum, een exact tijdstip of een locatie.    <\/p>\n<h3>4. IS\/IS-NIET-informatie wordt verkeerd of helemaal niet gebruikt om onderscheidende kenmerken te vinden<\/h3>\n<p>Onderscheidende kenmerken laten de verschillen zien tussen IS en IS-NIET en worden zo geformuleerd dat ze <em> alleen gelden voor IS<\/em>. De IS-NIET wordt gebruikt als vergelijking. Wanneer informatie zoals \u201cis anders\u201d, \u201cis niet hetzelfde\u201d of specifieke eigenschappen zoals dikte of lengte als onderscheidend kenmerk worden benoemd, wordt het zoeken naar relevante veranderingen erg moeilijk of zelfs onmogelijk.
