The Kepner Tregoe method or KT method isn\u2019t a single tool, matrix or template! Kepner-Tregoe consists of four fundamental \u201cprocesses\u201d that add structure to the way we think, ensuring that we use a rational, data-driven approach, rather than relying on assumptions and gut feelings: Benjamin Tregoe and Charles Kepner originally began researching the way our minds work \u2013 how we solve problems and make decisions. They were interested in analysing the factors that make someone a good problem solver, for example. Gradually, patterns emerged and they formulated an approach that attempts to emulate the thought patterns of someone with excellent critical thinking skills.
